New Plantspired Line From Nasoya & Recipes!

I love partnering with Nasoya, and I was especially excited to try their new Plantspired line, since every product they ever make, I enjoy so much!

As so many fellow vegans and vegetarians are well aware, for over 30 years, Nasoya has been a leading provider of natural and organic foods. They are also passionate about authentic, wholesome products and the highest quality of ingredients.

Since Nasoya is the nation’s leading tofu brand, I was so happy to learn about their recently launched Plantspired products – a new line of convenient, plant-based meal solutions ready to be enjoyed in minutes! Here's some more information about this exciting new line:

  • Plantspired products are vegan, made with Non-GMO ingredients and crafted with the best-tasting and most trusted tofu on the market, Nasoya's Super Firm Tofu, which is high in plant-based protein.

  • Ready to be enjoyed quickly and with ease, Plantspired products are simple to serve at home or on-the-go, without requiring additional ingredients or much prep time.

  • With Plantspired, Nasoya is setting a new standard on how to approach everyday eating. By harnessing the power of plants and plant-based protein to create the most delicious (and convenient) recipes, Plantspired helps encourage good eating habits that last a lifetime.

  • The Plantspired lineup includes several exciting products – including Plantspired Meal Solutions, Superfood Skillets, TofuBaked, and Toss’ables.

And you know me, I had to immediately get creative in the kitchen with my Plantspired products, right upon receiving them! I knew instantly that I wanted to make a stir-fry using the sesame ginger flavored baked tofu, that would be awesome for summer time, and incorporate those delicious flavors in the tofu marinade by adding a peanut sauce to the dish. Here is the recipe, and as you will notice, what a super easy and fun meal to put together!

Bell Pepper, Kale Stir-fry w/ Sesame Ginger Baked Tofu & Peanut Sauce

Serves 2

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced

  • 2 cups kale, chopped

  • 1 package Nasoya Plantspired Sesame Ginger TofuBaked, cubed

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Saute onion in olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat, stirring frequently until onion is translucent. Add peppers and saute until tender. Add kale and tofu, then continue to stir-fry until tofu is lightly browned. Finally, in a small mixing bowl, mix together soy sauce, mustard, ketchup, syrup and peanut butter to make a sauce. Add sauce to stir-fry, combine and cook until warmed through, while stirring constantly. Serve over rice, quinoa or greens.

Optional: you can season your stir-fry with salt and pepper to taste and also top with fresh Thai basil leaves.

Recipe Idea

Toss'ables are perfect for salads! They work great in any dish, but I have been loving them in various salad concoctions! How fun and refreshing for summer, right?!

What I did here is make a salad using Tossables in Garlic & Herb flavor. I added cucumber and vegan mayo. I also used fresh herbs like dill, basil and mint. It tasted amazing served on rice cakes! You can also serve a salad like this over crackers, toast, English muffins, greens or even as a topping for sweet potato toast. The possibilities are endless with Toss'ables so use your imagination and get creative tossing them in your favorite vegan meals! Get Plantspired!

There are many other delicious flavors and products to try in this new line. To get Plantspired for yourself, check out Nasoya's handy Where to Buy, store locator tool on their website. I love getting my Nasoya products at Whole Foods Market or Stop & Shop, here on the East Coast.
